As regular readers here will know there is currently an ongoing issue between Rangers International football Club and their auditors.
This is, of course, the time of year when yearend accounts are being prepared.
Deloittes have given the RIFC account to highly skilled staff in their London office who would not normally deal with a company with such a meagre turnover.
However, given the Season Ticket Strike and other matters they obviously consider this to be a high risk account.
Yesterday was a deadline day imposed by the auditing firm to have in-depth information from RIFC about their business plans for the next twelve months.
I understand from sources that Deloittes did in fact receive a document which purports to contain the information the auditors have been asking for.
So far there has been no reply to the AIM listed company from the highly regarded accountancy firm apropos the information provided.
Developing story.
