Robbie Keane for Celtic?
If so, then King Dermot could be on the brink of grasping discord from the jaws of unity.
It is worth remembering that it was a united Celtic Park that proved to be an impregnable fortress in the title run-in.
I understand that both Keane and Martin O’Neill were interviewed in London last night.
My information is that the man who just delivered an improbable league and cup double for the Hoops was in the building AFTER the ex-Maccabi Tel Aviv boss.
Dear reader, make of that what you will.
As for Keane, even if we park the Israel issue for now, would his managerial CV suggest he could take Celtic forward?
I will leave that one for knowledgeable folk, like, for example, the Huddle Breakdown.
Last season, Martin O’Neill saved Celtic TWICE.
Moreover, he did it with, in all probability, the poorest Celtic squad in a generation.
If the ONLY alternative is Mr Keane, then it should be no contest.
However, the Israel issue cannot stay parked.
This statement puts it rather well.

Reading the room with a glass eye as always
Judging by who he has worked for, Robbie K seems to have a similarly laissez-faire attitude to right-wing politics as his cousin – Morrissey. The lesson is a stark one – the Mancunian crooner has managed to alienate most of his own fanbase….
What else would you expect. The board are completely detached from the Celtic fan base. His taking the genocidal shekel does it for me and as a coach, I’ve seen nothing to give me any confidence. Just renewed two season tickets but I won’t attend CP if he is selected as manager.
