Poor Philippe is struggling through InClement conditions

I was saddened to hear that all is not harmonious between Sevco’s man in the dugout and the Transcendental Chairman.

Apparently, this presser had the Becalmed One approaching peak tranquillity.

Specifically, it was this moment when Philippe stated that his current employers “…are not the most wealthy club”.

For the avoidance of doubt, I do not think that this was an unfortunate faux pas by the thoughtful Belgian.

My take is that he was informing the succulent ones in the Stenography Corps of the conditions under which he has to currently operate.

My information is that this continental candour prompted the Dalai Lama of the Blue Room to arrive at the training centre with some haste.

I am told that a free and frank exchange of views with the current Sevco manager then ensued.

Perhaps it will be their last face-to-face interaction for a while.

Thankfully, that nice young Mr Bisgrove is available to be a messenger, keeping communication open between the two alpha males.

I suspect that the Belgian is now realising just how obedient the local media are towards the Blue Room.

  1. “Not the most wealthy club.”

That’s a subtle kick to the goolies of the Chairman and CEO?

And rather nicely delivered in his non-native tongue.

A bit like saying “Nicola Sturgeon can be forgetful at times.”

Or, “The weather just now is not the best.”

Or even, “The Rangers doesn’t concede many penalties.”

Sounds like Clement has just realised how high the

expectations are at Ibrox – whilst the resources available

to him ‘are not infinite’ ? 🙂

  2. “Not the most wealthy club” may have been enough to induce transcendental action, but my bet would be the faux pas in “you need (young) players who can grow to a higher level than Glasgow Rangers…” Has no one told him who THE PEEPUL are?
