Why Sevco are in full retreat

This was the day when the Ibrox klanbase honoured their beloved armed forces.

The official day in the UK to commemorate their military is the last Saturday in June.

However, they do things differently at Ibrox.

This could be seen as a warm-up act for the carnival of Poppy Porn that seems to get earlier and last longer each year.

Like the rest of the far right in Britain, Sevco’s valued customers are very partial to a bit of World War Two charlie.

Consequently, it is praiseworthy when they demonstrate the spirit of reconciliation by reaching out the hand of friendship.

However, the 3rd SS Panzer Division is probably taking it a bit too far.

Someone really should explain the symbolic importance of the Totenkopf to them.

Perhaps this fine chap was there today?

It’s almost as if they’re historically illiterate.

Meanwhile, some of The People are currently a case study in “broken”.

Seven matches in, and Celtic’s elite-level manager is starting to get to grips with his, in the main, new charges.

Quite simply, the Parkhead outfit has better players and more of them.

Yes, it’s a cliché that “the league doesn’t lie”, but it has become such an overused term because it contains an essential truth.

Given the logistic superiority of their arch-enemy, whoever takes command of the Sevco Fusiliers after Mickey B  is cashed out and not cashiered, will need to be a latter-day Admiral Yi and not a bumbling part-time amateur.

Indeed, if the Sevco High Command fails to land an inspirational leader in the dugout then their season could be doomed.

Doomed!

  1. What football manager in his right mind would take on the dross team that Beale has ‘bought’? Only one that doesn’t mind getting a bad reputation as long as there’s yet another bumper pay-off when it all goes spectacularly wrong again.

Their fans need to pay less attention to the guff from sports churnalists before pinning their hopes and dreams on another donkey leader. HH

  2. If there was a proper war – They would do exactly what they did at the last one…

Flee to the safety of the shipyards –

They have a loose connection with the Celtic board in that regard – Cowardice !

(In our boards case the cowardice is in their utter lack of fight against the long running injustices that our club face on a weekly basis)…

  3. Bad day all round for the Klan. Defeat was bad enough. The armed forces created a familiar freak show. Warmongering is a suitable distraction for their untalented team. Stepan Bandera would’ve been proud of the SS banner on show.

  4. Got to be a cheap option in McInnes.

He could maybe win the league cup for them and a manager’s honemoon period boost to xmas may see them not lose too much more ground.

A Rangers man would get some time to turn things round.

Inevitably with no money to bring in any new quality additions he’d need to work with the players he has, even a very good manager would have trouble with that.

It’s probably been the best job Beale has had. He has played a blinder in working the klan into thinking he was top drawer when the Celtic fans have been talking over his repeated lies and lack of integrity over his players, general lack of a strategy. He’d throw anyone of them under the bus to deflect from his lack of experience and ability. Now he gets a super pay off for his ineptitude. Good man.

The next chancer they get in will no doubt be in the same mould, work out the need of the klan put out some fighting talk and a wee No surrender here and there get them on side until they inevtably turn on you. Just make sure you come in with a nice pay off deal.

    Rinse, repeat….

I’d love the next man to be martindale though, he would suit the brogues. Mind you he does a geat job for rangers in his current position.

  5. This could be, emotionally for them, the worst season in their short history, even compared to the failure to get out of the championship. There was a mild acceptance of a journey then. But they’re fully committed to superiority complex now. And they may face a significant challenge for 2nd place from Aberdeen, Motherwell and the as yet unbeaten St Mirren (who may even run us closer than we’d like). These 3 teams have been excellent to watch and their managers are young, ambitious and-crucially talented.
Top 6 could be a proper euro slot dogfight this year.
Sevco may find themselves 3rd, 4th or even 5th.

  6. Looks like the end of Bealeball and the beginning of Bealebawl. To see such stiff upper staunchness desert their posts in the height of battle, how un-British,tut,tut, but alas there is a time and place for a rearguard action and that moment now looks like it has passed. How glorious it was to witness and on such a special day for those who regale in watching their ever ready cardboard commandos dropping on ropes for their jollies. The sight of those fearless combat clad lads as ever, ready to stave off those unseen enemies and lead their Castore clad boys to glory was truly inspiring, it really wasn’t but watching those Govan Galacticos getting their asses handed to them on the back of a late victory for the bhoys must have had what’s left of old Struth turning in his sash..

  7. The Brutish Armed forces probably served an ironic purpose at planet ibrokes yesterday ‘ seems twelve peepell in Lazarus shirts volunteered for the firing squad which included eleven new signings who opted for The rainjurz as opposed to Reel Madreed”

  8. They’re actually talking on Rangers Banter about Rafa Benitez or Claudio Ranieri being brought in as manager. Apparently the lure of ‘the Famous’ will be irresistible.
