A staunch stance in the Blue Room keeps the klan happy

The Sevco High Command has ably demonstrated in the seven years since the Off Licence Putsch that they know their customers.

That knowledge has helped the brethren in the Blue Room navigate some difficult times.

This latest spat with UEFA about the Brit national anthem is already going down very well with the Ibrox klanbase.

The looming row with the European body is a perfect deflection from what has emerged since the Ajax game last week.

Apart from ANOTHER four-nil thumping, the Sevco manager blurted out the truth in the post-match presser.

He was truthful when he said there weren’t millions in the bank.

The straight-talking Dutchman was not breaking news to my regular readers.

However, it was newsworthy to hear it from that source.

Then there was the small matter of the ambience in the dressing room being less than Zen-like in Amsterdam.

It is never a good sign when players start briefing against the manager to their mates in the media.

Therefore, I’m glad that didn’t happen in this instance.

As well as deflecting from the aftermath of two four nil thrashings the Sevco High Command has to contend with the ongoing agitation of Mr David Cunningham King.

My information is that some within the Blue Room would sell to Dave’s Stateside associate.

As for the most senior member in the Blue Room, his preferred option would be to unearth another benevolent bear will to cover the inevitable losses.

When such problems are on the horizon, it is helpful to have a shiny thing to wave in front of the Ibrox klanbase.

Consequently, this minor dispute with UEFA fits the bill nicely.

Now, whatever happens, tomorrow night, I’m confident that our gallant allies in Europe will ensure all ordinances are obeyed.

If they are not, then there will undoubtedly be consequences for the ten-year-old club.

Either works for me.

Ah well, I suppose it’s just as well that Sevco isn’t on a UEFA financial watchlist at the mom…

Oh wait!

  1. How does the song work – do the weirdos just change some words to make it about his instead of her fascist regime? (c) the Sex Pistols.

  2. It would be an amusing scenario if,

UEFA fines sevco for its support singing the English national anthem,
    &
UEFA fines CFC for its support booing / shouting during the minute’s silence! 🙂

[Well, UEFA has to get the cash to fund future bungs somehow, (allegedly).]

  3. Calm down, calm down. This is the honeymoon period for bonnie king charlie. Just wait till he starts snarling at some more pencil cases or whatever gets in his way. As I heard another king…. Arthur Scargill, say in Bellshill two years before the miners strike…. “Uneasy is the head on which rests the crown”

  4. They will always treat the ordinary working class as nothing more than nobody’s, when you see the poverty in their country it shows they don’t care about doing anything about it as long as they have the royal bubble.

  5. It’s understandable why so many Liverpool fans detest Souness. The way he grovels to the monarchy, and is almost begging for a knighthood. He’ll never be forgiven on Merseyside, after his pathetic connection with Murdoch’s rag. Now he’s having a go at Klopp, for not being sufficiently jingoistic and pro-royal. Pitiful individual..

  6. Have you ever watched tv depicting the North Koreans wailing at the death of one of their leaders from the Kim dynasty.
I find it quite unedifying and profoundly disturbing watching those people cry at the demise of the individual who presides over their subjugation.
Similarly, in the UK, you have the enforced mourning of the death of a hereditary monarch and praising of the ascension of a new one. Same same
What is truly shocking is how Orwellian it all is. There are people attacking their fellow citizens for not sufficiently displaying their grief. It’s not unlike some dystopian bleak movie where all the citizens toe the party line initially out of fear and then, having been brainwashed, become enforcers on behalf of the state.

  7. And we can expect the billy boys and the famine song to be included in their repertoire let’s hope that whoever uefa sends to the match listens carefully as the Fare representative didn’t include the singing of the billy boys in his report. And will we see the VAR operators treated to drinks in the Louden tonight?

No, you bunch of brain dead mutants, YOU ARE THEIR SUBJECT.

    They own you
They live in palaces, you drink pish.

I just don’t understand how anyone with a brain can accept this undemocratic head of state.

    Oh, wait, that explains it
