Let’s get a few things straight.
If Antonio Colak does sign for Sevco, then he is world-class.

If he doesn’t, the Ibrox club has decided that he isn’t up to their standards.
Those will be the only two acceptable narratives for the succulent suspects in the Stenography Corps.
For the avoidance of doubt, I have no idea of the lad’s abilities as a footballer.
I DO know that the Ibrox outfit is entirely free of any serious journalistic scrutiny of Planet Fitba.
For example, it was clear that Conor Goldson was in a powerful position when he negotiated his new contract at Sevco.
I’m told by a buddy in Agentland that it is customary in such circumstances for the player’s representatives to insert a very lowball release clause into the new agreement.
Was that what happened with Goldson?
Moreover, the fact that Sevco’s front three are all now into the last year of their contracts should be a major story on the back pages.
I wager if it were happening across at Celtic, then it would be the stuff of souvenir pull-outs.
At the very least, the succulent suspects should be in touch with the representatives of Aribo, Kent and Morelos to ascertain if, say, the club has reached out to them to sign new deals.
Across the city, it is changed days since the era of Lawwellball.

Another player announced today.
This is strengthening from a position of strength.
The champions, with guaranteed UCL Group Stage cash, are signing players at the manager’s request and to his timescale.
Moreover, the new lad from Argentina has been brought in early in order to gel with their teammates.
With both clubs, the common factor is money.
Celtic are spending a lot of the stuff because they have it readily available.
As for Sevco, they have to pretend to their delightful klanbase that everything is financially rosy.
That is why I chose the featured image.
I’m hoping that the succulent suspects will be better with pictures than words.
For you dear reader, then our old friend Public Data will be very helpful in the coming weeks.

Celtic FC needs to stop signing good looking players, hairstyle wise. Meanwhile at Sevco.
Ffs they got hammered by the eleventh best team from Germany ,in a one off game . If it wasn’t for a defender slipping and penalties they still wouldn’t have scored . Hope EF are our pot one team in ucl group
Our record in Europe has been abysmal for a variety of reasons, no denying we have not played well, especially away from home, we haven’t carried much luck either…draw wise, we have had some hard draws. However we also have punched well below our weight in terms of the teams that have knocked us out . They got to a European final with an away record of six losses, three draws, one win, for nine goals, & 12 goals against, that,s unreal and beyond hoachy. So lets not get carried away about how good they are, football wise, there is no comparison, as in most other things too. The new season awaits, were in the starting blocks for a change, I fully expect domestic superiority, done in some considerable style. The big chap has it pegged.
Like someone has already said we hear this year after year .
Yet they still carry on regardless
And in their credit got to a major euro final and won the Scottish cup .
Hopefully under Ange we can progress on last year ,not expecting much in champions league ,but hopefully a decent run in the Europa and of course winning the league again .
The cups will be a bonus
Main thing is get a a good pre season.
Get players fit and up to speed and get a good start to the league campaign.
I think along with Ange Postecoglou Michael Nicholson deserves merit for getting things over the line. It’s been the best transfer business in a long while by getting everything done early.
Again, we hear this every year, month, week etc, fact is they got a euro final and Scottish cup an there or there abouts league wise, plus they changed manager an set up during campaign, if we are that far in front and they are so dysfunctional then why did they beat us at hampden and bar one half of football go toe to toe with us every game ?
Totally agree it was very close last year. It will be very tough again. Getting to a Europa Final is an astonishing achievement. We need to focus on why our European record is so so awful. We haven’t won a post Christmas knock out game since 2004 I think. It’s a disgrace and we need to be asking questions of our board and Managemnt. How can a ten year old club get to a final when we cannot get near it …. Even in the Europa Conference!!!!!!
tough to ask those questions of a new management team ( mostly) and a board with new leaders , the past isnt their bag but as long as they learn from others mistakes all good
Rewilder, Of course they went toe to toe with us last year, but remember they were the champions and untill Ange came in we were in a total mess. Now that we are champions and Ange bringing in players that He wants we can prove that we are the Champions and will remain so this season. Hopefully we get a good run either in the Champions League or the Europa League. In Ange we Trust. Hail Hail.
There’s not much noise about sevco transfers in or out as yet but I expect the obedient churnalists will be ramping up the volume in the near future. It will all be fantasy about how hard the Blue Room have worked to ‘hang on’ to Kent, Morelos, Aribo and Bassey. HH
Phil, they have certainly kicked the transfer business into the long grass with a number of one year extensions -they actually now have 18 squad members out of contract in the summer of 2023 – huge money needed for a rebuild – some more confetti to be issued soon
