When I first saw this, I immediately assumed that it was a clever mock-up.

Apparently not.
Where to start with this?
In one sense the Sevco High Command definitely know its customer base.
It is a sad reality, that the detritus of a deceased imperium are fascinated with British Royalty and child abuse.
So this one is just for them.

I have to park my puzzlement regarding the fasciation that the Saxe-Coburg crime crew has for the average Brit.
It’s cultural, I don’t get it any more than I do the fatal attraction with guns across the Pond.
Tragically you know that this most recent slaughter will not be the last.
I wrote this piece a decade ago as news of yet another mass shooting in the USA.
Many had hoped that the Sandy Hook massacre would be a teachable moment.
Sadly, they were wrong.
I don’t see any way forward.
Therefore, thinking of far more frivolous things seems to be appealing at this time.
Both phenomena, the Brits bowing and scraping to royalty and the American fascination with firearms, do point to the way that culture can trump rationality.
Of course, some on Planet Fitba also have a fetish for armaments as well as a slavish obsequiousness to the Saxe-Coburg clan.
So this one is also just for them.

Regular readers will know that your humble correspondent has been tracking the growth of the intelligent Fifth Estate on Planet Fitba for several years.
Quite simply they do the job that the succulent suspects on the sports desks have decided is too difficult.
Therefore a hat tip is due to the brilliant @Alan_Morrison67 of https://celticbynumberscom.ipage.com/
Apart from being a seriously smart lad, he is patient enough to explain things to the chaps on the sports desks.

Ouch!
Then he laid it out for the hard of thinking on the sports desks.

The party line currently being fed to the Stenography Corps is that Sevco are now rolling in cash after their ultimately unsuccessful European run.
Well, double counting is very helpful when you want to inflate the headline figure.
That will do nicely.
The public data that any journalist should be concerned with will be what is reported in the year-end accounts which will usually be published in November in time for the RIFC AGM.
Then there is what transpires in the summer transfer window.
The latter will be especially useful in gauging the level of financial health at Ibrox.
It will also be a strong indicator of just how much they had to give Big Mike in the recent settlement.

As always follow follow the money, but only count it once!

The Irony of said football club delaying season ticket renewals for their beloved Queen when the same club well they keep telling us it’s the same club stole millions from HMRC .
The problem with telling people you are rolling in cash is it tends to attract the greedy . Those bonuses for getting to Seville will take a hefty amount from the top line then there are the players agents who are negotiating new contracts or extensions. Calvin Bassey’s agent will be delighted to learn that the club* now rate him at a level that should attract bids from Beijing . Similarly the expectations of a large transfer budget for Gio may end up disappointing him . The news that ST renewal deadline has been extended in honour of her Maj has to be the strangest gift ever proffered to the Koburg Klan but for others it’s just the gift that keeps giving.
Double Counting does not surprise me! We all remember 0+1=55.
Ibn fairness, Sevco did extraordinarily well in Europe this season and last. Getting to a final tie after only ten years of existence, and from what is acknowledged to be one of the less fashionable leagues, is a remarkable achievement. Even if they have to pay their winnings to Sports Direct, this cup run has probably staved off disaster, at least for now.
There are two warnings, though. Leeds United showed a few years ago what happens if you mortgage everything chasing European millions but miss out. But also Celtic need to understand that consistent under-achievement in Europe will cost them millions and potential lost ground against a rival that over-achieves. There is a balance to be struck and I’m not sure Celtic have got it right.
…. and deduct 19% corporation tax from the final figure…
Presumably Sevco will be paying double what they actually should be paying.
The gun tragedies in the US are awful but Phil, I’ll tell you what, if the British people had the right to bear arms those thieving lying ####s in London would not be oppressing 70 million people.
Two sides to every coin and such tragsdise are heart breaking but how many die at the hands of the British establishment?
How many die every day due to theur actions across the globe?
Wr should all have guns, the people with guns stop us though.
I find it amusing the bears have Calvin Bassey as a £20 million pound player, this is a guy who has a only played 70 odd games in his career between Leicester and Rangers combined.
