It was, once again, Statement O’clock at Ibrox.

Over the past few days, I’ve had several sources telling me that the ample Colombian was Friar Tucked for the rest of the season.
So it has come to pass.
Sadly, he will not be turning out again this campaign in the traditional Norwegian Blue of Sevco.
When a player is injured on international duty, the parent club can claim against the national association.
Now, I’m sure that the world-class organisation at Ibrox will be doing that right now.
Of course, the Colombian folk will want to ascertain just how Alfredo acquired his injury before they pay up.
Was it playing for his country or perhaps in a training session with his compatriots?
Perhaps the coaches in the international set-up had Alfredo doing something particularly strenuous.
Like some sort of obscure Pilates.
Whatever it was, I’m sure that the prolific striker was giving it his best shot in Colombia.
One thing is for sure: the Ibrox club will miss his penetration up front.
He’s definitely a player.

I would imagine if there is a country in the world that would be a match for Sevco’s shenanigans then it it would be Columbia. This should be fun.
The Scottish media wear “Pravda”.
Chapeau
THIS PARROT IS ONLY SLEEPING
Of course, nobody wants to see any player injured.
And it’s a wee shame that Morelos’ upcoming transfer for £20M / £30M / £50M to Lille / EPL / China will have to be delayed.
Oh well.
Morelos is a decent enough competitor when not throwing a strop. Of course, that happens pretty frequently. He’s won a single trophy at Sevco in the last 5-6 years. Kyogo will prove to be a far better all-round player. He’s only in the door and won silverware already.
Understand he was actually getting a gastric band fitted.🤣😂🤣
Morelos coming back for pre-season training should be fun. Laid up for a couple of months, hope castore do XXXXL.
Pre-season will be interesting too with so many out of contract players. Worth nothing on the market do they stick with a year extension or twist.
Morelos out of contract next month and picking up 60-70k per week, he will probably see that out before a decent move away on a freebie, so much for the £30m China offer.
Stretchered off a buggy in one game and then limped off the next game and was applying an ice pack to his thigh before jetting off to Colombia.
Someone might want to inform them of this.
New agent pulling a flanker. Tubby is for the off. Turkey would be my guess…or maybe China. lol
More like pie and lattes….
A fellow called John25 posts a lot on RangersBanter and RangersRumours. He comes over as a well informed cove on matters Sevconian. His line recently is that Rangers have been ‘managing’ the Colombian man child’s injury for several weeks.
Norwegian Blue lol
Fkn chortle!
Ah Phil, I feel the ‘Norwegian Blue’ jape will flee right o’er the heids of any sevconians reading this.
However, I chortled gleefully.
And it is for that I thank you, noo get back doin the mines n get cracking

A football club that has ceased to be…
Just ‘pining for the fjords’
Monty Python’s dead parrot, ex-parrot, just leaps to mind
Oh, he’s playing Sevco perfectly. He sees that their season is on the downturn and doesn’t want his brand /value tainted by association as he’s for the off at the end of the season. Though I’m sure their board would probably rather keep his value as possible, knowing they are unlikely to achieve the over-inflated “Dembele Dollars” they wish for. but some cash is better than no cash when the wolves are at the door…
The words “sustained while on international duty” in the club statement may prove interesting over the coming days. Will they differ from Columbia’s medical team view of his fitness when he arrived there after limping off at Dundee just before.
Losing Morelos for the rest of the season was the last thing they needed.
It’s just dawning on their support that not getting past Braga and losing the Scottish Cup semi final to Celtic will bring their season to a shuddering halt.
Celtic going on to complete another treble will just rub salt in their wounds and no doubt increase the pressure on Van Bronkhurst who will likely be moved on to appease a very unhappy fan base.
The SFA have today appointed the 12th man…Bobby Madden, to effectively oversee that the orcs get EVERY opportunity they claim for.
If I could bet it just now I would put my mortgage on them getting a penalty..or more…if required in the semi final.
If we are to win that one we will need to be at more than our best…..hh
