The third secret of Sevco

I learned yesterday that most folks in the Blue Room are not as well informed as they really should be.

Of course, the director of any company or engine room subsidiary needs to have information about what is being done in their name.

Otherwise, they cannot be expected to act in the best interests of the shareholders.

Consequently, I was surprised to learn that the current interim chairman only became fully aware of the details of the Dave King loan when he was elevated to the big seat.

Perhaps is some culturally informed “need to know rule”.

In that, it is only when the chap gets into the chair of the fraternity that he finally learns closely guarded arcana.

For example, that Hiram Abif was actually from Contae na Gaillimhe and a sub-contractor for McAlpine.

Big job that temple.

So now Mr Park knows the truth about the Dave King loan.

Does this knowledge now weigh on him like a cornerstone?

I have reason to believe that the precise nature of the Dave King loan, the interest rate and the security is a major story.

That is why the Stenography Corps know that they cannot go there.

Moreover, their obedient silence is rather noisy.

Of course, if I was in charge of Sevco’s PR  I would feed some feelgood morsel to one of the usual succulent suspects.

So expect that in the near future.

Meanwhile, the Ibrox klanbase must be giddy with excitement at the imminent return of Señor Alfredo José Morelos Aviléz.

No doubt he will be transported on a widebody jet.

Social distancing might be a bit of a squeeze though…

Stay safe.

  1. I see some on the blue side are equating signing young cheap cross border transfers, ditto loan players from the EPL without any first team league experience, as long term planning!
Almost claiming that the club is writing off next season and turning their back on Celtic’s march to 10 IAR and beyond.
Really? There’s such a thing as getting your excuses in early but I doubt this will wash with the majority of their support.
Though it appears that they will swallow kanything the club or blue facing media feed them at face value as in threatening legal action against the SPFL to drive ST sales which turned out to be no more than hot air.
Perhaps a serious professional hinted that taking legal action against the SPFL over a resolution that their club had voted for might not get very far?

  2. Just had a look at blue side posts around the lack of legal action by their club to deny Celtic Champions status.
Amongst other things I was gobsmacked to read that Celtic had been running the league for the last 10 years.
Additionally the referees were all in Celtic’s pocket over the same period and the SFA/SPFL administrators were all Celtic minded.
It’s very noticeable that many of those railing against corruption and cheating in Scottish football, short memories indeed, are unaware that their club was party to the unanimous vote to call the league based on an average points basis.
Someone even claimed that their club was not part of a unanimous vote and the SPFL were lying in this respect!
One poster however did get the bigger picture when he suggested taking legal action against a decision that their club had voted in favour of, might not get very far in a court of law.
There’s no doubt that the Ibrox club’s willingness to vote YES was motivated by the 2nd place prize money which would have been immediately available to them and that the previous tough talking to pep up ST sales was indeed just talk.

    • Is it just me or will Norn Irn be well positioned to allow the Flute Faces on the streets for the 12th? Nothing surer as far as I’m seeing.

  3. Those guys over at IN have really got their knickers in a twist.
According to them Celtic have stolen the Champions League riches for next season that could/should have been their’s!
The league challenge collapse after the winter break appears to be immaterial in their thinking.
With that campaign falling on death ears one bright spark is suggesting that any CL income generated by Celtic in the CL should be split equally over the 12 SPFL teams!
Why stop there, why not split our sponsorship and merchandising income throughout as well?
The proposal was not universally welcome with regards to CL monies as many of there fans were adamant that none of the money should go to the haters, the ones that voted to send them down to the bottom division. Quelle Surprise!
And here we are 3 weeks plus since the vote to call the league was passed unanimously and not a peep from Ibrox about the promised legal action that was their call to arms for fans to buy Season Tickets for 20/21.
Perhaps there are discussions going on behind the scene as to who picks up the legal tab? King, Park, Another?

  4. Surely King hasn’t secured his loan on the stadium, that would have the blue side going mental as they railed against Big Mike when he did that very thing.
Or has King first dibs on the initial £6.5m of the Morelos/Barasic/Tavernier/Kamara transfer fee income, leaving Stevie G to hoover up cross border transfers on the cheap, or recruit further Liverpool trainees, none of whom have first team EPL games under their belt.
It’s the start of the downsizing project, what with Close Bros, Sports Direct, Memorial Walls, Hummel/ Elite, deferred wages and taxes all to be paid up.

  5. The agent of ALFredo has sev co by the baws
If sev co don’t stump up the 3 months deferred wages ALFredo walks away as the contract with sev co will be NULL AND VOID 🙂
The agent could get ALFredo about 50 grand a week contract with another club, especially as the other club doesn’t have to pay the so called £20 mullion asking price for ALF

  7. The cornerstone. The foundation on which an entire edifice is constructed. Remove that and the whole structure comes tumbling down. Whatever can you mean?

  8. The third secret of Fatima is, I think, your reference. It is possibly the miracle of Fatima that may be required. It will be intertesting to see how this plays out. My box of popcorn is ready for the days ahead

  10. I wouldn’t worry about Alfie coming home on a wide body aircraft – cargo freighters are configured differently, and I’m sure the boys at Volga-Dnepr Airlines can get him aboard an AN-124 no problem! Failing that, they could perhaps charter Airbus’s Beluga plane.
