Oh how quickly things can change. The bigging up of Morelos, Kent, Kamara, Barisic, Aribo et al has come to a sudden halt.
In fact all of them are taking criticism from their fan base to one degree or another as is Stevie G.

Just reading Jabba is claiming in daily radar that he was assaulted in Cumbernauld by two thugs.
He says it was linked to his employment at the basket case of pawned assets.
If this is true then I condemn this act of violence completely. Despicable. Cowardice.
The problem though, is the daily radar and Jabba have come out with such outrageous lies hundreds of times in the past that it’s difficult to judge something as the truth when they purvey it.
It’s all quite timely.
The absence of a golden nugget swipe at Celtic fans probably infers it was Sevconians having a go. All that pent up anger with all the failure on the pitch.
It’s amazing how all the shenanigans of the past few weeks at sevco by passed the convicted chairman. If Close Bros do pull out then that puts a big kybosh in Rangers plans. It’s pretty obvious that this year they’ve gone all out to win the league, if successful the directors could loan (and really loan) a few million against the expected Champions League cash, but if it fails then let the club go bust in May.
Last year their expenses (according to their accounts) were £65 million. That’s about £5 million a month. That meant that even with a £10 million hole in the accounts they could make the April payroll. May might be a few days late, but by then their unpaid players would be sulking on the beach rather than on the playing field.
But if they need to find a few extra million then they won’t be able to make the wages for April, perhaps not even for March. That £5 loan Dave King promised won’t be enough.
And starting to sell next years season tickets early won’t help. According to last year’s accounts, their credit card company is so worried about their solvency that they are handing over the season ticket money on a game by game basis. That was £10 million held back last year. Offering big discounts to anyone who pays for next year’s season ticket in cash will be a big warning.
I expect everything to fall apart in April.

UEFA’s 2 year ban from tournaments and massive £25m fine for Man City driving a bus through FFP rules must have some other clubs wondering whether they too are at risk of sanctions.
Especially those who are running at losses year after year yet continue to spend money no matter what.
You have to wonder what the English FA have been doing. The English leagues supposedly have their own FFP rules, so have man city broke these rules as well and get punished by the League. If they have been banned by UEFA for not reporting their financial records correctly they must of submitted this information to the English FA to get a licence. Seems a lot like RES 12.
Will be interesting to see if the football governing body is as strong as their counterparts in rugby

Curiously the writer is adamant that the last court case ended with a bloody nose for SDI as Rangers won the argument.
Ah ok, that means all is well, no financial tsunami on its way to Ibrox, someone must have fronted up the £10m shortfall forecast in the accounts after all.

Look like he’s starting a new narrative of sectarian and personal abuse against him which may drive him out of Ibrokes (ahead of him being bumped?) No doubt BBC Scotland’s Kerosene Nissan (the only man to see the multi-million Chinese bid for Morelos) witnessed this latest ‘squirrel’.
Steven Gerrard is most definitely “in the wrong movie”, it would be unfair to judge his character by the mess he finds himself in. His judgement however in choosing to find such a mess to cut his teeth in will be definitive.
