Monday was a difficult day for Sevco PR fire fighting ensemble.
The video footage of the roof of the disabled section collapsing at Rugby Park was not a good look.
Of course, the usual suspects in the tabloids could be relied upon to put their dignified shoulders to the wheel.
The deflector shields were up and an attempt was made to make Kilmarnock and their allegedly unsafe stadium the story.

Of course, the roof of the disabled section was perfectly fine if it had not been used for dancing on.

The national broadcaster does not have the commercial pressures of the private sector.
That’s why the Licence Fee is very important as it takes commercial pressures off those in positions of power.
This allows those in the studio a certain freedom to call it as they see it.
Of course, they have to have the courage to do so when the occasion calls for it.
This is one of those occasions.
Therefore, it was encouraging to listen to Mikey Stewart last night call it straight in the aftermath of what could have been a much more serious situation.
He started by pointing out that the fascist song sheet was in evidence from the get-go at Rugby Park.
“Within ninety seconds shouting about people being dead and being up to their knees in blood. What’s that got to do with football?”
He also called out the basket of assets for putting caveats in their inevitable statement:
“Rightly or wrongly a gate was forced”.
As I have written here many times the Sevco High Command need to keep the klan onside in a way because they are, as Mr King himself called it, the “co-investors”.
Consequently, the chaps in the Blue Room cannot publicly criticise them for their behaviour.
This is just one fatal pathogen in a potentially very serious situation.
It is clearly observable that there is a section of the Sevco support that, on match days, is out of control.
They have bought into a post-2012 narrative that their believed basket of assets has been the victim of a grand conspiracy.
Since the Off License Putsch of March 2015, the Sevco High Command have shovelled steroids into Planet Fitba’s Dolchstoßlegende.
Of course, it is delusional pish. As the strapline to “Downfall” points out Rangers FC “self-destructed”.
That is a truth that many in the Ibrox home crowd cannot face.
Since 2012 the sight of Celtic exercising full spectrum dominance in the domestic sphere is too much for many of the klan to take with good grace.
That is why it is imperative that the Fitba Fourth Estate starts to serve the public interest and relentlessly call out the Sevco mob without the insertion of any exculpatory caveats.
That happened last night in a studio in Pacific Quay.
Mr Stewart has done the state some service.
Chapeau.

As squirrels go I thought the GB Misogyny Sectarian Chanting one was not only of the spectacular variety but also VERY underhand.
If Celtic let this one go I would be inclined to ask those in charge when are they going to start taking the Media and The Pretengers to task?
We are “World class in everything we do” after all.
Set the World class lawyers on their Erchies then Pedro!
As Rangers fans debate what monies are left in the war chest for Gerrard to splurge, I notice that one bright spark reckons that the revenue from last year”s Europa Run is untouched and is available to Stevie G.
Really, I don’t think so!
Leaving Close Bros and Sports Direct aside the ST money will be gone by Xmas, perhaps sooner.
As things stand there are no £20m buyers from the EPL queing up forTavernier or Morelos with less than 36 hours to the window closing.
Europa Cup progression to the Group Stage is an absolute must. Failure will leave a huge hole in finances and an already restless fan base will be less than pleased.
The blue facing media will do their best to soothe the masses with the fantasy that by ‘ sacrificing’ European football then they can concentrate on the domestic trophies.
Of course the unthinkable double whammy, if Celtic achieve CL Group Stage, will also be sold by the media as a positive for the Ibrox club.
Make no mistake, 9 IAR and/or a quadruple treble, will clear the decks for 10 or more and the fall out in Govan will be of the nuclear variety.
Unfortunately Phil, there is a section of our own support who are clearly out of control as well.
I watched footage from inside and outside Rugby Park. There is clearly a large build up of fans outside but there is no panic, excitement, distress or general perturbation. From the internal footage you see and here the Sevconians shouting, a propos of their otherwise calm brethren not being able to join them. A voice is heard, urging the internees to action like a Lambeg clarion call as it asks of police and stewards ‘Have youse no heard of Hillsborough? Let them in, open the gates.’
The men behind the wire gates open them and it is at that point general stampede follows as the assembled peepul rush forward with acclamations of joy.
I think Killie are blameworthy in that they did not provide a roof sturdy enough to facilitate the terpsichorean joy expressed by several KlanDancers.
Imagine posting videos that contradict your party line! I blame the schools.
When we went on the pitch at the end of the cup final win against Rankers it led to them invading and attacking our fans, Manchester against Zenit before and after the game, against His in the final a few years ago, Firhill two years ago, Killie already this year.
Just a few examples where the Klan were not held to account, this institution has blighted our game for generations and will continue to do so unless when they die again they stay dead.
The vitriol against CS wee lassie was abominable and the victim blaming is astonishing.
I once said to my Dad when he asked what I would do if I saw a rankers fan on fire that I would pish on him.
My Dad said he would let him burn, I hope DD had this attitude when DK and his fellow scum danced in front of our board at the 2-1 defeat when they were supposedly back.
You would let a human being burn? I think I speak for EVERY decent Celtic fan when I say “WE DON’T WANT IDIOTS LIKE YOU SUPPORTING OUR CLUB!”
I doubt very much if Senor Bandido was being in any way serious.
Your word for the day is “hyperbole”…
We are 24 hours away from what could be the most important game of the season, opening the road to CL riches of £30m plus.
Nice to know that we have players in demand but I’m sick of Arsenal’s feeble attemps to sign KT.
A £15m joke offer followed by a 2nd bid founded on add ons which may or not be met taking the offer up to an alleged £25m.
Now we have reports of a £15m bid for Ajer who could be a mainstay at Celtic for years ti come.
You want him on the cusp of the English window closing then ok that will be £30m now, no add ons, end of negotiation.
As far as KT is concerned it’s going to be October before he’s firing on all cyclinders and if we progress to CL Group Stage he could show what he has to offer to much bigger teams than Arsenal.
Ajer is a far better player than VanDyke was at the same age.
More than ANY other season, the Green Brigade and our support, at home, away and in Europe, HAVE TO, absolutely HAVE TO be impeccably behaved. The strict liability will come. We have to engage The Spirit of Seville, and our Tifo’s ( within reason) and the smoke bombs, flares and anything that could lead to SPFL, SFA or Scottish Executive enforcing a penalty on our club, and believe me – it will be only our club, – So they have to get patched,
There has to be a rallying call for the support to show discipline in the face of provocation and hostility much like a player would have to deliver, running out at the Rat Pit, playing against, an illegal club and state sponsored 5 aside match official team.
Let the illegal Klan, implode, the closer it gets to 9IAR and 10, the worse it will get, the more inflammatory the media headlines about our club and scandal will be, anything to detract the quest 10 or the legitimacy of it.
Sadly Mikey Stewart is lone voice, Graham Spiers (for what it is worth) spent along time like this.
Win, lose or draw, we have to take it with grace, NOT roll over by any means but show why are Celtic. No one believed O’Neill when he said old Rangers were the benchmark, it’s that sort of universal undertaking the support must have this season and into next. just do our talking on the green grass.
it’s a 21 Month Project until the end of 2021 campaign……we have the Manager, the Squad, Some key players, and a healthy Bank Balance…… there is no reason for ill discipline.
They have legal fees, merchandising issues, an operating debt, no line of credit, a manager who will jump or just get found out, and
an ageing spine of their team, (it’s getting slightly overlooked) , but above all they have their Rank in File, knuckle Dragging, “55” orange sash wearing, imperialistic, Neanderthals…..who believe they are the peepul. Their DNA and identity is dying a slow agonising existence, much like their previous Klub. Kilmarnock was just the beginning, of this season….. the patient will have one last kick as it heads for the Pearly Gates
21 months of Celtic support and team Discipline, with Smart operations, will secure their worst fear and their financial collapse AGAIN……For me it is a practice worth paying
I put up a post yesterday along the lines of, the Green Brigade contributes so much, but they cost us so much more. It’s unreasonable to expect the club to keep paying the price of their selfish actions.
Outstanding comment, I pray the Green Brigade high heid yins not only read this, but are also of a same sound mind.
Do the great things they do so well, bring the colour, the noise and the charity.
Yesterday’s disgusting squirrel regards the womens match, truly shows what we are up against, now so more than ever as tensions reach fever pitch.
Sadly for the GB, they are a beacon for the worst element of our support, spotty upstarts with not an ounce of historical knowledge.
The trick will be to reign this element in for the away days, and of course it can be done, because they will listen to what is said as it trickles down from the top.
So get the message out there, no behaviour that gives our enemies a stick to beat us with, be joyful in your support of this great club, and do it proud.
The payoff will be more than worth the effort, watching this disgusting klub and its neanderthal fans lurch in crisis from one week to the next, leaving a trail of destruction behind it.
Mark my words, they will implode, and the view will only be truly appreciated and enjoyed with maximum fervour from the highest moral ground we can position ourselves on.
Two seasons to play with cool heads and hearts in the stands.
If they last that long.
HH brothers and sisters.
Well said, Mikey, but be prepared for the blue coloured flack that comes down your pipeline. The followers of the deady-bears aren’t known for their pacifism. HH
We have heard little, or nothing, of significance from Maxwell since he took over the reins at Hampden.
If he remains bunkered up at Hampden then the few who thought he was the best man for the job can join the rest of us who questioned his appointment from day 1.
Gie the guy a break! He’s a busy man. He’s personally heading up a review into woman’s football. He doesn’t have time to bother himself with minor details like disabled people having their lives put at risk by sevconian thugs. Or the same thugs breaking into a stadium. Or sevconian players leaving the field of play.
He has far more weighty things occupying his mind right now. Should woman’s football be full time professional, part time professional or as you were?
“Pitch invasion? Stadium damage? Fuck off n gimme peace! Ma heid’s birlin wi this wuman thing!!”
Jeezo!
It’s only game 1 of the SPL – game 1 of a long season – and the deviant club is re-enacting Groundhog Day…again!
They are all stupid at Ibrox.
…and we are all stupid for allowing this blight on the Scottish game to repeat its nonsense!
Sevco FC say they do not condone the behaviour on show at Rugby Park.
Not good enough Sevco, you MUST explicitly condemn, name, shame and expel everyone involved with the shameful incidents at Rugby Park.
Oh dear, there goes most of the first team squad.
The SFA & SPFL have nowhere to go on this one. No way will they take any action against Sevco FC but in doing so, they will set the precedent excusing every similar action by fans and/or players in future.
A bit like they did with Morales assault on the Aberdeen player on the opening day last season.
Glasgow Calimero’s It’s an injustice THEY JUST CANT ACKNOWLEDGE IT. HH
Kudos Mikey Stewart
Michael Stewart – one of a very few lone voices, calling these clowns out for what they are. When you have muppets such as Rotund Derek, Monster Munch, and other Ibrox apologists for “pundits”, I truly despair.
“Rightly or wrongly, somebody opened the gates”…
Have these f**king eejits never heard of accidents such as Hillsborough, Herself, and closer to home – in fact, on their own doorstep?!! Do these halfwits understand the concept of health and safety at all?
Had, God forbid, somebody been killed by being trampled underfoot in the ensuing rush to get inside Rugby Park, or from the disabled section collapsing on them because at least 300kg of weight (based on 4 people, weighing 75kg each, if not more), would it be okay, because they narrowly beat Killie over the 90 minutes? Holyrood, under Alex Salmond, were quick enough to cobble together the much-hated OBAFA – where is the rush to take action against sevco, who must accept vicarious liability for their own fans’ actions?
I meant HEYSEL, not herself… bloody predictive text!! 😆
I thought you were referring to the wife! 🙂
Nah! I was so concerned for my own health and safety, I divorced her!! 😆
Me too. I was fair puzzled!
WhenRangers’ disabled fans were crushed by their own fans at Celtic Park last year, Police Scotland ,as reported by the Daily Rangers, blamed Celtic players for celebrating their win as jndeed Rangers’management and the disabled.Indeed at the Rangers AGM they made the point that theri players would not behave inthis way. Will both Police Scotland therefore apologise to Celtic as,after Sunday,it should be obvious to all that the behaviour of Rangers fans is the reason!!
It could still be deemed as being Celtic’s fault for the 7-0 thrashing they gave the Saints. The Zombies were more shit scared of dropping points in their opening game that their relief at snatching the winner was palpable and led to dancing on the heads of their own disabled support.
Kilmarnock would be advised to have an adequate dance floor for future huns’ visits as the 5XL knuckledraggers don’t care much about who they endanger. HH
