Well, I did say it could be box office at Dens Park.
The dénouement of Sevco’s season was epic as Celtic netted in the 96th minute.
Ten points at this stage of the season will do very nicely for the Champions.
It is good to see that Neil Francis Lennon still has a turn of pace up the touchline.
Mr Let’s Go will be hoping that the gruelling trip to Kazakhstan next week for some of the Celtic lads will give his chaps some advantage on the 31st.
For the avoidance of doubt, a defeat at Parkhead would be very difficult for Sevco’s work experience manager.
Overall, it does appear to be all going wrong for the Sevco High Command at the moment.
I’m told that there was a briefing on Friday regarding the Sports Direct court case next month.
Sevco’s legal team laid out the situation in forensic detail
Apparently, Mr David Cunningham King had a cunning plan.
It was so cunning it could have been devised by a professor of cunning with 41 criminal convictions for cunning.
However, his idea of further stalling the proceedings was shot down by the legal hired gun.
Essentially, there are no further grounds to seek a stay of execution.
Only the amount of damages is to be decided upon in the High Court and I know the figure that Big Mike is looking for.
Of course, once that case is concluded the Sports Direct folk still have the first refusal on the retail deal as per the contract.
Remember that great victory that King won over Ashley two years ago?
You might have read about it in a newspaper.

For the avoidance of doubt, I said at the time that the devil would be in the retail.
Another lucky guess from your humble correspondent…
The car boot sale wheeze has raised the possibility of further litigation for Sevco.
I would not be surprised if the Elite Sports folks might be consulting their legal teams about this shambles.
My information is that the prospect of an “Old Firm” cup semi-final was going to be the pretext to launch Sevco’s season ticket renewal campaign.
Obviously, Aberdeen and Derek McInnes had other ideas.
Now there will need to be another squirrel.
This is a particularly busy time for the folks behind the scenes at football clubs if they are in the running for UEFA competitions next season.
I’m sure everything in order at Sevco with their scrupulously prepared financial information.
After all, if UEFA is coming down hard on Manchester City and PSG then this Financial Fair Play (FFP) must really be a thing.
So, for the day that’s in it, I hope ye are all in flying form like Lenny.
Take a moment and watch this happy Irishman.

The latest guff being quoted from ‘Alfredo’ (via Jabba T, via Daily Rancid) is some of the best yet…
“Alfredo Morelos has blamed “bad refereeing decisions that altered my temperament” for the spate of yellow and red cards the striker has received since joining Rangers from Helsinki. (Daily Record)”
It’s been the referees all along….
They slag and slate the authorities that have protected them for decades but still expect preferential treatment because they are ‘Rainjurz’…
The entitlement genetics must be engineered into players and managers the moment they join that ‘institution’.
These days it must also be infused with a large dose of ‘victim serum’ at the same time. A heady and incongruous blend.
“ We are superior to you, but we are also oppressed by the organisation that created us!”
I hope the continued SFA attack’s backfires on them today and that Alfie is handed a hefty ban for his Rocky Balboa tactics on Saturday.
They clearly have never heard the expression – “never bite the hand that feeds you.”
The equally rank vapours being spouted about a ‘6 minute, play until Celtic score conspiracy’ is equally ridiculous.
6 minutes was declared , so that’s what was played..,
The new club actually had 6 minutes added time on Saturday. The big difference is that ‘they’ could do nothing with it….
… Celtic did!
A scrappy game but true champions grind out points to the last opportunity.
Dundee would have settled for a 0-1 defeat before the game despite their league position. They probably couldn’t believe their ‘luck’ when a point looked likely.
Even worse for the Sevco minded fans and media. There must have been an audible collective groan from them at 14:24 yesterday as that 96th minute pass was coaxed home. Thankfully it must have been drowned out by the celebratory noise from the fans who now know that (barring something catastrophic) an 8th consecutive title is ours.
Another lovely Monday.
It’s just a case of picking up a few more points to deliver 8 IAR and once again putting the going for 55 bunch back in their box.
Kingco has thrown everything bar the kitchen sink at winning this season’s title and failed.
Stevie G’s talking of 5 or 6 marquee signings in the summer window.
Where is the money coming from to fund that transfer activity?
Mr Bennett has already confirmed that the board can no longer write cheques to meet the cash shortfall.
It’s doubtful that previous donations would have been made if the lenders had realised that their millions of hard earned cash would be replaced with shares in a company that has racked up huge losses in it’s short 6 years existence.
Close Bros had to be tapped up to provide the wherewithal to see out the season before ST monies come in.
Whatever the amount borrowed it will come straight out of the season ticket monies before a penny is spent on transfer fees.
With Big Mike back in court next month a further blow can be expected to the finances.
Any suitors with an eye on the ball will be pitching low ball offers for El Buffoon and Tavernier knowing that any reasonable offer should secure the players services with the club desperate for money.
It’s doubtful if the £20m and £8m being bandied about will be on the table and this may cause some difficulties with Stevie G if his star players are undersold, in his opinion, and a relatively small amount is presented to him for replacements.
Despite some underwhelming Celtic performances the points difference in the SPFL is already in double figures.
Not only will Stevie G come under pressure from fans as another trophyless season unwinds but a historic treble treble will no doubt send a support, already at the end of their tether, into meltdown.
I see that after months of promoting the Union Bears protest at BBC Pacific Quay, only a handful of fans turned out to protest against BBC Scotland bias!
They appear to have a problem with Sportscene highlighting the exploits of the Columbian nutcase rather than being critical of his on field behaviour which has seen him rack up 20 plus yellow/red cards with the certainty that more will be coming his way in the last few months of the season.
I really have to disagree…
Dave definitely threw the iBrokes ‘kitchen sink’ at it this season…
Unfortunately, it’s been chained to Jermaine Defoe’s leg since January.
Ach that’s just cruel. The sink deserved so much better!!
Good post match trackside interview; NL speaks from the heart, he’s passionate, honest and tells it just like it is.
The further reaching consequences of today’s late winner has impacted them much more than I had initially thought, your above analysis proves that.
That really does make the victory all the sweeter.
Been reading and viewing some horror stories of Dens Park stewards and police being over zealous and extremely heavy handed. They cannot take liberties with peoples rights simply because they wish to attend a football match. The footage online is of a band that usually gets entry to grounds without any issues, however, today polis scotland showed their true colours and behaved illegally imho. This should not be permitted and has to be addressed asap, that type of police victimisation is typical of police scotland,SHAMEFUL AND ILLEGAL.
Thanks for the ample helping of schadenfreude Phil.💚🍀✅🇮🇪
