Pedro leaves and Dave braces for impact

Oh dear, Pedro is hardly out of the door and a tsunami of high-Level pish is cascading over The People.

The utility function of these off the radar fantasies is to sooth Sevco’s customer base.

Nothing more.

If you read them like that then they have an internal logic.

Consequently, beware of any “journalism” that seeks to minimise the extent of this clusterfuck.

When Pedro replaced the Admirable Warburton the Sevco High Command offered him a three-year deal and he duly signed it.

My understanding is that within that legally binding document was an annual review clause.

Of course, the likeable Portuguese chap didn’t get to that twelve-month milestone.

I note with interest that suddenly the people problems at Auchenhowie can be written about.

It now seems to be ok in the mainstream to discuss that the dressing room under Caixinha was spilt along ethno-linguistic lines.

Of course, regular readers here had been aware of such a schism for months.

For the avoidance of doubt, I do not think that only I knew this and the sports desks didn’t.

It is just that I am free to publish and they are not.

They operate under high-Level restrictions and I don’t.

Moreover, it is not my role to spout comforting pish to The People.

One staffer on a major title told me two months ago that they all knew about the WhatsApp group among the British players.

However, he said that there was no way that anything about it would get past editorial.

Instead, it was a constant flow of weapons-grade pish about how Pedro and the boys were as one.

Now that the ex-Al-Gharafa chap is now ex-Sevco the river of pish continues.

One Jackanory was brought to my attention today indicated that Mr David Cunningham King will fund the aftermath of Pedro’s reign of error.

Presumably, that is the same Dave King who had his legal representative state recently in the Court of Session that he was “penniless”.

The Take Over Panel folk presented, what I thought, to be a very strong case backed up by documentary evidence.

The South African based convicted criminal clearly acted as part of a Conerty Party and, ipso facto, breached the take over rules.

Mr King’s defence for noncompliance was twofold:

  • I’m skint.
  • I didn’t understand the rules.

I had expected that the ruling from Lord Bannatyne would take several months to be handed down.

However, within the last 24 hours, two excellently placed independent sources have told me that a decision is imminent.

One of these sources was the chap it was absolutely on the money about the timing of the UK Supreme Court ruling on the Big Tax Case.

Therefore, I have to give some credence to this steer.

If both of these sources are correct then that would make sense of what I have very recently heard apropos Mr King.

My information is that between the Motherwell game and the Kilmarnock match he was very busy reaching out in the Square Mile.

I understand that Mr King has been awfully keen to offload his shareholding in Rangers International Football Club (RIFC) to any takers.

Remember he did once try and sell his stake in RIFC to Mike Ashley a while.

So Pedro is gone, but his expensive duds remain and Dave is bracing for judicial impact.

No doubt some stenographer somewhere will say that is like signing a new player!

He even might win an award for it…

  1. I might be wrong but i am assuming for the moment when King appoints a new manager, penniless or not the new manager will have funds to spend!

Where the funds come from and will come from for the next manager still baffles me to this day.

  2. Magic! The old Pishometer of Pish is operating at full power . The nitrogenous waste is gushing like the Hoover Dam.
The gullibillies are what they are , gullible !.They live and breathe on any keck
fed to them by Scottish media. It’s either an addiction , plain stupidity, or a combination of both.
In 2012 they had the option to acknowledge all the illegalities which they had created themselves ,admit their culpability and start afresh. But no,watp this our entitlement.
SFA and SPFL should not be allowed to fudge any of the issues which you have raised. They will try ,won’t they?
    Thanks again sir.

  3. DK will also be wanting to offload before the audited accounts are out. Whatever the soft loans are at it must be approaching the notional value of the issued shares hence making the shares theoretically worthless.

As before, it could be sold for £1 yet again with the buyer having to clear the soft loans a la Whyte.

  4. Hmm, if King could offload his shares, ( unlikely I know) he wouldn’t lose money in a planned admin event and then he and the rest of the concert party could buy the basket of assets and end up owning all of the new club ( sorry holding company ) between them as recompense for their soft loans being lost in said admin event. As said before immediate reductions in outgoings / wages, in house retail deal, no debt only 12 point deduction so unlikely relegation. Job done.

    • Their current issue is that they have no money to move the club forward – even if you were correct the same problem would still exist….

    • Agreed but do UEFA not look at any insolvency event, especially one deliberately set up to wipe out debt, etc as a break in continuity?.
If so,and I may be wrong(not for the first time)!,then any sort of administration would see Sevco barred from UEFA competitions for at least 3 years. This would surely impact on any future financial planning(I know,I know).
Don’t see how they’ed get round this.

  5. Surely delisting RIFC PLC was his biggest hint at his future tricks?

The SFA should be looking at all Premiership sides being listed on an LSE Exchange. Any delisting and relegation follows.

This underpins Financial FairPlay, transparency, stock exchange Announcements and hard regulations governing plc’s for investors. No underhand debt/ deals/ football Spiv tricks.

Shareholder fans deserve to have their clubs managed to LSE regulated standards.

The SFA and SPFL MUST deliver this level of confidence.

      • Come come now, lads, you both know those rules only apply to other clubs in Scotland, England & elsewhere, but not ever Rangers or Sevco?

Surely we can all see this by now, that the SFA are merely the ministering misfit minions to whatever zombie, ghost or demon finds itself trapped in Ibrox worshipped by the largely unthinking and the mostly undead ..?

Now if it were Hamilton, Celtic or Partick Thistle performing such misdeeds this flourishing of the rules and rule books would be all very good and proper, and punitive fines and punishments would actively ensue forthwith, but this last decade has unequivocally proven what the true purpose of the Scottish fitba ‘rulers’ and media really is regarding the myth of Rangers Past …

They are merely the victimised, living in denial, handmaidens to the crazed totem pole dancing comedy club, to keep the empty suit at least looking ‘alive’, though dead to all intents and purposes the thing already is.

In fact, it’s ‘5th Anniversary’ is tomorrow, Rangers Fitba Club will be officially ‘5 Years In The Drawer’ in the vulturistic BDO’s swish City of London offices.

Wonder what’s taking them so long for the burial though, eh ..?

  6. Phil,
what kind of dosh is Mr King looking to offload his shares for, and are there any viable hats in the ring. Will he get a better price before Lord Bannatyne’s verdict, you would think he would?
Still seems like a poison chalice to take all financial responsibility for any Ibrox helmsman, though they must be close to clearing their feet.

  7. I still don’t think that selling his current stake is enough to get him off the hook vis a vis the take over panel. They want people to follow the rules, not duck and dive and avoid them. If one of the possible options for anyone trying this on next time was simply to sell their shareholding to less than the magic 30%, or all of it, then the rule would be open to widespread speculation. The rules are simple and straightforward – Don’t buy more than 30% as an individual or a concert party without wanting to bid for the remainder.

I’m not surprised the ruling is imminent. The Companies Act leaves very little options open – the court must make an order to ensure compliance with the TOPs rulings. Full stop, no get outs. All this weeping and wailing from his rather expensive QC was just grandstanding. There is no option for the Court to decide on. Do what they say or go to jail for contempt.

He may indeed be trying to get out of the UK any money he can before the axe falls and then never set foot in it again, but I can’t see anyone touching these even for 0.1p/per share.

  8. A squad of 22 players without Pedro is like signing 22 new players!

    ??????

The Daily Record publishes opinion and agenda. Not Sports news.

It attempts to shape reality rather than honestly report on events. Only gullible fools go along with it.

Today Gullibillies are shown pictures of training and news all players are a single team under impressive competent Murty. Soothing Pish balm. All this pish for one jellyfish sting.

        ALL mainstream media outlets.

The Zionits agenda seized total control of world media 5 years ago as part of their NWO plan so I advise everyone against watching any of it unless it’s while engaging a critical and objective eye.

      • The sfa used the court of session to justify them passing a man with 43 criminal charges fit and proper, now the court of session is about to find Dave the lying king got those shares illegally with the help of all the other directors at the COMPANY. The sfa have to review their original finding on king and question the action of other directors in illegally activity.
