Two important stories broke today on Planet Fitba which amazingly didn’t have anything to do with the Green Brigade.
They will be disappointed.
The poor dears…
The first one was the news that Mr Barry Ferguson had been declared a bankrupt.
If this is apropos his Rangers remuneration via an Employee Benefit trust then he has my sympathy.
Professional footballers have to rely on expert advice.
His expertise was in playing association football, not tax law.
The bad guys in this saga were the authors of the scheme at Rangers (1872) and those entrusted with governing the game.
Of course, you can add to that list of shame the local media who were determined to look the other way.
Following on immediately from the story on Mr Ferguson’s financial status was the news that the new SPFL Board will review the use of EBTs by Rangers (1872).
There should be no need for the newly elected Mr Stewart Robertson to recuse himself from any discussion on these matters as this relates to the deceased club.
All he has to do is to state that his Rangers have no connection to the club that died in 2012.
I hope that the review will also look at the payments made to Ronald de Boer and Tore André Flo under the illegal “Discounted Options Scheme” (DOS).
This was never contested by the old club through the tribunal system.
However, the Nimmo Smith commission lumped in these payments with the EBT scheme, at that time, going through the tribunal system.
It was the DOS scheme that led to the Sheriff Officers attending Ibrox in August 2011 in what became known as the “Wee Tax Case”.
That is the reason that Rangers (1872) should not have been granted a licence to play in UEFA competition in the last season of that club’s existence.
Once more it was a failure of oversight at Hampden that led to this breakdown of sporting governance.
Oh, and if you’re still feeling sorry for the political prisoners of the North Curve then spare a thought for what might have been.
I spoke today to someone who was very well placed to see the security response unfold at the match against Hearts on May 21st last season.
He told me that the Match Commander, on seeing the flares and the plastic sheeting, ordered that a fire appliance immediately be dispatched to Celtic Park.
Thankfully the Fire Service, although responding quickly, were not needed.
However, they might have been.
Pyrotechnics being brandished inches from flammable material.
Now, what could possibly go wrong?
Celtic are back in European action this week and I hope that Parkhead is rocking.
There is no supporter more important than those players in the Hoops.

Phil,
I think you are being too generous to say that BF has your “sympathy”.
If my information is correct, he has been receiving excellent tax advice.
So much so that he liquidated his assets (two properties in Dubai) as well as transferring his assets and holdings into his wife’s name before being declared bankrupt.
He has walked away with his brass neck still intact.
No sympathy for the Devil, as they say
Flares – wrong and dangerous
IRA songs – not wrong, but no need for them except when we are listening to the filth that sevco and their ilk subject our ears too. (then belt them out)
Brendan at work banner – clever parody on the original south Armagh sign. (we know what it means, but the smsm cannot link it, despite their best intentions)
Provo banner – why?
Green Brigade – colourful, noisy boisterous, but no need to ban them, they support Celtic, but they do have to learn NO one is more important than the hoops.
Celtic Board – 90% of what they do is great, just wish they could be as quick outing those BASTARDS who continually attack our team and culture.
I really don’t think the GB will be disappointed but you may be if your purpose was to bait them.
FACT: Petrie states the SPFL will review EBT use against the no Sporting Advantage finding.
FACT: Budge states on camera an official statement will be issued on Wednesday.
STV takes this news and these facts and reports that the SPFL will not investigate Rangers use of EBTs. No further action. Their website and app still report this position on Tuesday after stating it on tv.
STVs news reporting reputation is on the line. If they are wrong, we cannot believe anything they report on going forward as being true.
From Thursday 27th July 2017, Scotland will be pioneering the new sport* of Dissociation Football. After spending five decades doing everything possible to gain no sporting advantage via honest mistakes and tax evasion (illegal), the great and the good have determined that Timmy is just too good at level-plaing-field Association Football and running profitable businesses associateed with Association Football.
In a statement the new Scottish Football Dissociation (SFD) announced; “We had planned to launch Dissociation Football on the 50th anniverssary of it becoming necessary – but we missed that because we are just a bit crap at organizing things. We look forward to a new era when, on and off the field of play, rules are officially for wimps and fairness is for weak-minded Fenians. Let the sport* begin!”
‘The Dissociated Press are delighted to welcome the Dissociated Football Dissociation into our dissociated world and can’t wait to work hand in glove with our new brothers on behalf of the Dissociated Disorange Disorder & any other distinct dissociated factions based on parochialism, avarice, criminality and the utmost disrespect for anyone that isn’t ‘one of us’.
There has never been a dissociated time like it!
And we mean that most insincerely, folks!’

As is now established by the supreme court, ebts are wages, contractually agreed by employer and employee. the employer in this instance were rangers fc. To replace rfc, sevco had to agree to service all football debts to comply with sfa rules. Wages are football debts therefor the latest version of the club operating out of ayebrokes are dutybound to honour these debts (and yes i know that honour and that lot in the same sentence is oxymoronic). this could take a while to get sorted but hey it could be fun
nice

By the end of tomorrow (Wed), Rangers (1872-2012) may be only the third most corrupt organisation in Scottish football.
What is it about “third” – it just keeps coming up.
Nudge nudge wink wink.
If you believed what I told you, your world view would change forever.
Mst folk just can’t, or won’t, accept it though.
Without the Green Brigade banner on empty seats and promises the board would have went for the cheap option of McKay they would never have spent the cash on Brendan last season was thanks to the GB the board do not have the right to ban any celtic fan from CP a lot of people would like to see you banned for your views Phil but we must never let them divide us sevco fans will be back at CP next season and after last time they should be banned for life having to listen to their bile was a crime against all celtic fans but no action from the board to ban them good luck to the bhoys on Wednesday HH
Barry Fergusson’s expertise certainly was in playing association football and not accountancy.
However, when an organisation offers to pay you £2.5 Million pounds over 5 years without the deduction of Tax or NI, surely you would think, EH?
Any punter who placed a bet on Scottish soccer with the bookies during the cheating/scam years must surely now be intitled to a complete refund once they can produce documentary evidence of their bet.
Having seen horrible videos of the Bradford disaster, I’m surprised that CFC didn’t take immediate action to identify and sue the arseholes responsible for the “display” at the Hearts game.
I, for one, won’t miss that bloody drum in the GB section.
A lot of Celtic supporters on here and other sites in full condemnation of the GB which in itself is a bit broad brush as I know that a lot of people in that section are decent people who are not aware of what’s planned until it actually happens. Why are the police, who are very close to the incidents not arresting the people who are holding flares, flying offensive banners etc. Of course it’s got to stop but one question ………why not the same condemnation of supporters of the south side club who visit our stadium subjecting us to sectarian songs and songs about paedophilia for 90 minutes whilst causing £100,000 of damage when they take a break in the middle of it? Not aware of any 2 match ban for them.
There are many supporters who attend on a weekly basis more important than some of the charlatans that have worn the hoops over the years
100% correct Danny ” football without the fans is nothing ” hail hail x
l love a wee quote…
“Surely there are enough Celtic songs without introducing religion or politics or anything else?” Jock Stein after jumping into the crowd v Stirling 1972
The statement that BDO are pursuing the recipients of “loans” under the EBT scheme is perhaps significant in that (1) no sovereign state acts as tax collectors on behalf of another state and (2) the potted biographies of the joint liquidators indicated their expertise in tracking monies internationally. Presumably civil actions against foreign recipients who may have anticipated getting off scot free (!) are now possible.
In reference to your point 1, that is incorrect. The UK is one of many nations that collects tax debts on behalf of others, within HMRC this is referred to as “MARD”, I believe this stands for Mutual Assistance in Recovery of Debts.
Thanks for that. Happy to learn it.
Great point! HMRC would be stuck against foreign Rangers players. I guess they could stop their entry to the uk or have them arrested on arrival but that’s about it.
I find men who raise paramilitary banners distressing. There’s surely a crime there or a hate crime perhaps? Should there be arrests and prosecutions? Or is it a football issue only?
No, there’s no need for jail, mate, the media spin & hysteria just has your knickers in a twist.
I suggest you refrain from reading or watching any mainstream media until the bullshit storm blows over, which will be never, as their new team will always be shite and will never catch Celtic on the park so they will resort to all manner of underhand tactics like this GB stunt to both get us thrown out of Europe and divide the support at the same time.
Seems to be working too …
Too early to be connected to Barry’s EBT, HMRC machinations in the very slow lane, that one still to come. SFA,SPFL where Rangers 1872 concerned act like corrupt Ostriches ,MSM complicit accomplices. Needs someone somewhere to grow a pair. Would be nice for West of Scotland and all concerned to join the 21st century.
The GB have form on issues like this no doubt someone has had a word with them for their previous errors so what is going on because they don’t appear to listening. They have with their press release let the club see exactly what they think (carry on regardless) which has been their aim imho since the day they formed. Delusions of Grandeur to a man which is only going to end one way.
Peter you are deluded
Peter, that is nonsense
Peter. That is p..h.
It seems from the statement, the GB do think they are a law to themselves. I supported the Palestine protest because it was a great opportunity to highlight the plight of the Palestinian people. The GB done that without offending the Jewish people in the ground. There was no anti Semitic sentiment and I was never prouder of the GB. As far as the pyrotechnics in the ground, I worry about the mentality of the decision makers in the GB. Seems the only thing considered was the club will get into trouble. That’s not something the group really care about as explained by their disrespect for a board that invite war criminals and Tory lords to help run the club. Last I checked John Reid has yet to be charged with what they perceive to be war crimes or even hear his involvement in the cabinet voting structure for the Iraq war. I think the GB can fight that battle through petition and courts of the country and maybe get something done about it. Nothing would ever get done shouting about it at Celtic park. Ian Livingston was the CEO of BT. The company that will overtake sky as the biggest investors in British football I am sure his knowledge in that field was of great value to Celtic in educating the board about all media aspects of the club including Celtic tv. As an all inclusive club there is some socialist snobs kicking about that should be made welcome at our club.
You could wish for a watp board that think and act like the support, but one club like that in Glasgow is enough. From the safety aspect of flares, being burnt is one consideration. The smoke wafting over asthma and COPD sufferers is not pleasant to say the least. Biggest long term damage from fire is smoke inhalation. GB had no consideration of this when the flares were lit. Lung damage to fit people can be the start of lifetime of health problems. I think that is why they are not allowed.
The GB get great support from the rest of us and rightly so. They go over the top at times and we do sigh hoping they get the big picture. The statement suggests a gauge of reaction from the rest of us is condoning all they do. I suggest the GB don’t put that to the test choosing them over the club. Celtic will win 100%. Idealism is a fantastic concept live a bit longer and experience tolerance and compromise. Our Irish brothers would teach you a thing or two about that and I bet the majority of them were not impressed with the Brendon snipper and paramilitary parody during the week.
If you want to change the world politically go to meetings with your MP’s and community groups. Celtic park is a release from the weekly fight with society. We the support love you guys doing what you do best.
Most of us served our time in the jungle being the vocal support if we need to make that noise again we will. But when you guys are on song we couldn’t match ye. God bless ye all and put the club first.
Sorry, Tony, I found the Palestinian display offensive as the Nation State is run by terrorists. For which I pity the ordinary Palestinians all the more. The real point, however, is that if one’s politics or religion doesn’t matter, then why have these divisive issues in football ?
The lands of Palestine were seized by the British & Americans act the end of WW2 to establish a Western power base to destabilize, and ultimately colonize, the long sought after entire Middle Eastern region , killing untold millions in the process, which would be, and has been, called ‘ethnic cleansing’ or ‘genocide of the Palestinian people’ by non Western-compliant media.
The Zionists claim that these were the pre-Biblical lands of Judaism, that is, from, er, 2000 years ago and have ripped up the entire country in an insane search to find one piece of evidence to back up their claims, without success.
However, every knows that this is simply a cover story for Western empire expansion, (well, all except John S, but he doesn’t count) in their final, long coveted power grab for the region.
Therefore, the ‘terrorists’ to which John refers are simply ordinary folk defending themselves from the imperialist might of the massively overpowered Israeli Defence Force, which is armed and funded by the UK & the US, among others, in their ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people.
*See ‘The General’s Son’ by Jewish Israeli ex IDF officer Miko Peled, and these videos, for absolute confirmation of all of the above.

Have to agree with statement regards police standibg in passageways in game v Linfield why. Also Scott Sinclair not allowed to run to the curve to celebrate his first goal
They are not IRA songs. The are ballads.
Sure Grace has being the highlight at games for the last season. How cound you even think of ending songs like these. Just another Kilmarnock. Love it!!
Being a Rangers FC Legend, Club Captain and Hero leads you inevitably to Bankruptcy in life.
More Legends to follow?
I suspect SDM remains sitting well upholstered.
I would not condone the uncontrolled use of pyros anywhere and believe any unregulated use should be dealt with harshly; the risk to safety especially within a large crowded area is obvious enough.
I was at the Hearts game in section 209 just above and to the left of GB as viewed from the pitch.
When I saw the pyros I was more than a little surprised and immediately thought there would be repercussions.
As they continued to burn, which was for some time, I fully expected the plastic to melt causing even more problems; but it DIDN’T.
I can’t say with any certainty but my only conclusion is that maybe it wasn’t plastic, maybe it was fire resistant material.
Maybe the GB were more responsible than they have been given credit for.
Just been on Newsnow Celtic and it looks like the SPFL are not going to launch a fresh probe into Rangers ebt years. there will an annoucement on Wednesday. according to Ann Budge. oh well.
Cheating the Taxman and hidden payments to players is not a book Mrs Budge or the Hearts want opened.
STV 6pm NEWS tonight doing its utmost for Sevco Rangers spin. Grant Russell and Raman Bardwaj really spreading it thick that the SPFL will not reopen the EBT investigation as it has received legal advice (laugh).
Yet Hampden doorstep interviews with Budge and Petrie revealed no such thing. Both Budge and Petrie told us to await a statement on Wednesday. So how can Russell state no SPFL action?
Over at the BBC mcLaughlan reports that the SPFL will reopen the EBT investigation but new sanctions are unlikely.
The Daily Record is reporting the SPFL will reopen an investigation.
Poor old unreliable stv.
Let’s all await Wednesday.
“So how can Russell report no spfl action?”
The answer is he can’t! He should not be reporting that misleading position. The question therefore is….. who is he obfuscating for and why?
The fact is the SPFL will make its position known on Wednesday.
Is Grant Russell an incompetent journalist?
Yes, he is.
And what’s worse is that every time I see his name I think of that chubby stargazing horoscope guy from the 80s, Russell Grant, who was also a charlatan and longstanding joke amongst anyone with half a brain in their heads.
Then there’s Green & Whyte and, in today’s latest, and maybe most incredible of all, Begbie’s Trainers …
Sometimes I think someone has made this entire cast of characters up just to make fun of us.
But I don’t know who’d be sick enough.
Apparently there is some good legal advice to be had in Arbroath , the SFA doesn’t use them so they must be honest .
football is nothing without the fans !
So once again the SPFL come up with a spineless “No further action” with regards to the actions of a now non-existent football club!
There you go then all dodgy football clubs out there…..Come to Scotland, where it’s ok to cheat your fellow competitors then have the brass neck to claim you “won” things.
Any supporter who now sets foot inside a stadium to watch a Scotland international or a Scottish cup / League cup match is supporting Regan / Doncaster and the regime.
Scottish football is now an officially pointless sport.
Don’t fall for stv fake news.
The SPFL decides on Wednesday.
My question is why were the SMSM amassed outside Hampden today to surprise and cajole board members?
This looks like an SMSM Jabba inspired pressure and force a favourable decision rather than honest news reporting.
The Green Brigade cannot defend the use of flares – they should be banned from every football ground on the planet and those who let them off should be banned for life.
Regards the appointment of Roberston, frankly I am disappointed. I don’t know how the election/selection process works, but this man is running an organisation in breach of FFP regulations and one that is continually, in my opinion, bringing the game into disrepute through a succession of inaccurate, misleading and often threatening press statements.
It is also – which ever way you look at the old club/new club myth – highly inappropriate for any leader from Ibrox to be a member of the SPFL Board when the sins of the oldco are still being investigated and oldco directors are sitting on the newco. Is Mr Roberston supposed to declare an interest and leave the room when Rangers are being discussed? I don’t like it one bit. It actually reeks of more potential corruption in the corridors of Hampden.
Inhaling the smoke from flares results in lung cancer.
I agree, and was always a drainpipes man myself, even if they can be bit tight round the crotch area.
The GB have dropped our club in the merde. Every supporter knows that , but I think they know it better than us. You wouldn’t need to be a half wit to guess the ramifications of your stupidity. The GB remind me of militant and recent manifestation momentum in the Labour Party . Like all pernicious and malignant growths which invade a body, they need to be cut out.
Their press release was arrogant , self serving and self justifying their behaviour. I’ve been a fan for 63 years. I go to watch my club not the infantile performances of kid on pseudo intellectual clowns . They make up less than 2% of our support. If we want to participate in UEFA (corrupt they may be) competitions , we play according to their rules, not those of the GB. Furthermore they showed total disregard for our Club and the other 98% of our fans, who know what’s coming down the pike with regard to UEFA punishment.
They can be good entertainment on occasion. Do we need them? Do we f**k !
2
Yeah, the Labour Party was much better after Lord Pillock kicked out Militant and all those other swivel eyed lefties.
Wasn’t it?
Its time the ira songs are barred also.
How does a song of the ira make our players play better.
The songbook has been getting worse and Linfield was a disgrace.
Lets go back to Celtic songs and what will give the players that extra lift.
You never hear the Irish fans singing rebel songs why should we.
Keep them for your pubs and supporters busses.
HH
The ex British army soldiers who came to N of I & killed our women & children , are now out in full swing , trying to take Celtic from their roots .
Celtic will become another Killie without the Irish support
Absolute bollocks. I have had a season ticket for years and claim no Irish heritage. Does that make me less of a fan?
Not in the least , we are truly a club for all.
I have no idea where this idea is coming from but everyone in life must have social intelligence and emotional intelligence to succeed. Yesterday’s adversaries are today’s friends, etc….. times move on and circumstances change. Think game of thrones. Even principles change yet remain principled.
The GB appear rooted to a two decades already passed mindset of nonsense. None of their protests are relevant at Celtic park or wanted. Celtic is not a maverick club of idiotic ideas and never has been. No club are.
Phil was applauded when he wrote of the twisted sick mind that thought up the hanging doll stunt. All right minded people are behind his words on this latest debacle.
You’re blowing it out of all proportion …
For ‘twisted sick mind’, read ‘unthinking ned with too much Buckie in him’.
Gross though the stunt was, the Scotland fans at the first qualifier for the World Cup game in Latvia in September 2000, where McCann nicked a last minute winner, had a blow up idoll in a Jimmy bunnet, a kilt & stockings & suspenders and if I told you what that poor bit of plastic was subjected to during and after the game I’d probably still get arrested yet for telling it 🙂
Then there were the 60 year old ‘ladies of the night’ for hire later in the bar and, as I told my mates, they should’ve kept the doll instead if they were that frisky, as it was both better looking and wouldn’t lead them to a place where its male gangster mates could rob them from the purses hanging in front of their nutsacks.
And I know, ‘What happens in (insert place you’ve been naughty) stays in (insert same name) but the point is, for all the tasteless stunt it was, the tacky doll was just a daft bhoy not capable of thinking things through yet.
And it was only up for about 5 seconds so chill out.
Fitba is riddled with far more important matters than drunk neds and plastic blow up sex dolls, no matter how they’re presented.
And this is is no way a reflection on what Phil actually wrote on the subject, but an observation on the Celtic fans’ hysteria over both puerile incidenta.
Oh puhleeease…
Indescribable nonsense. This is exactly the sort of lame-brained shite that causes embarassment. Celtic’s roots are in feeding the poor in the West of Scotland.
Read a book.
Absolute bollocks 2 , trying to relate pro Ira songs and banners known to bring about sanctions , does nothing to promote Irish roots , its offensive , and harms the club , Irish roots and history are not just about conflict , and are not just a small minorities interpretation of that history , there are many institutions in the U.K. With Irish heritage, the Irish themself don’t continually sing of the Ira at sporting occasions, we have great songs sing them .the war is over ,
Utter tripe. There is more to being Irish than mere Rebel songs, although I enjoy them on occasion. My main gripe with the GB’s take on Celtic’s Irish roots is why focus on one brief period of an ancient and fascinating history? There was nothing romantic about living in Belfast in the 60s or 70s.
Damian Smyth,
Noted Celtic supporter and former Patron of Celtic Charities, Dr Sir Billy Connolly is a former British Army Red Beret and Wings paratrooper. Such is the intertwined nature of lives in and about Glasgow. That service does not preclude him from being a true Celtic supporter.
The football club in Scotland with the greatest armed forces distinguished service of staff/players and fans is Celtic FC.
Celtic’s roots are helping the impoverished regardless of their race or creed, not glorifying those that also killed innocent women and children. Much as though the IRA cause means a lot to plenty of Tims, it’s utterly bugger-all to do with a game of football and should be NOWHERE near Celtic Park.
Instead of other supporters being concerned about what the infantile and misguided Green Brigade might do next, I’d like to see Peter Lawwell come out all guns blazing with a clear statement along the lines of “Any behaviour by any Celtic supporters which causes concern to the club and it’s customers, be it deemed inappropriate songs or banners etc. or the use of pyrotechnics or such like will, after due investigation and irrefutable evidence of such activities result in the club choosing to forfeit the match involved whether it be in league or cup competitions including Europe. If we are already losing any affected match, we will forfeit the next match in that competition until acceptable behaviour prevails”.
On a personal note, I’d kick out the drums also.
We recently played a 3rd rate team with a very low quality supporters base and instead of just enjoying hammering them at football, some of our fans including but not restricted to the Green Brigade descended to their level and brought shame on the club. I enjoy these songs and the sentiments behind them in relative privacy. I don’t sing them at Celtic Park or any other football ground out of respect for the Club.
I wish those who do would have a rethink.
WHAT???
You want Celtic to forfeit matches in advance and ban drums from the ground??!!
You should have some of what I’m having and chill the feck out a bit.
That’s the Tartan Special effect for ye.
Media power in action.
Missing the point completely……I certainly don’t want Celtic to forfeit a throw-in let alone a game!
The idea is to make the infantile, misbehaving nobodies realise that even though they are absolute no-marks in general, they still have responsibility. If not for their space wasting selves, then most definitely towards other people and property.
Drums?? Definitely kick them out…….just as pointless as flares etc.
Nah, mate, the media mania has you.
So why would you suggest it, tinof, if you don’t want them to act on it?
And what is it with all your recent mad phraseology ..?
I’ve offered to buy Barry’s history at a knock down price.
I’ll soon be a SPL winning captain for the most successfully corrupt team in history.
Can I buy it aff you for a pound when you’re done with it ?
A POUND, A POUND !!!!
You can buy a whole non-tax paying football company for that amount of cash !!!
I know, but it’s the Celtic way to help out friends in need.
Any correlation between the announcements there’s unlikely to be any ‘further’ sanctions, i.e. title-stripping and Robertson joining Budge on the SPFL board?
Is it just Celts clamouring for title stripping? The move to prevent newco slipping right back in at the top table was far more vocal at that time – or it seemed to be. Is it a case of our wonderful stenographers keeping a lid on the murmurs of dissent? Or is it a case of the other clubs not having as much to gain from title stripping as they did from removing oldco from the voting?
This week’s SPFL review of EBTs. To dig or not to dig that is the question?
The new boys and girls on the board can either decide to dig the hole deeper by joining the indefensible LNS Supporters Group or they can let the cat out of the bag and flog the guilty to within an inch of their regulatory lives. A bit of keel hauling wouldn’t go amiss either.
Which do you think it will be? Dig or no dig?
My guess is that Wednesday will see the new board members presented with beautifully engraved ceremonial shovels.
Need I say more?
Aye, engraved with the legend
‘FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY’
Green Brigade will be missed. But it’s up to the rest of us attending game to make as much noise as we can
Recent arrival, 10 years they have been there. I too have watched Celtic for over 60 years ,and the thing I can`t get about last Wednesday is,the police are on GCC Safety Advisory Group for control of the standing section. Why then are the police seen violating their own safety laws by blocking stairs? A safety violation that led to Celtic being charged by a compliant UEFA observer for stair crowding. Something is inherently wrong when police break their own laws and Celtic have to pay penalty . Something stinks .
Some (tentatively) good news on the possible ‘EBT review’ but I won’t hold my breath.
And doesn’t wee Barry’s declaration to the bankruptcy court that he only has three thousand quid’s worth of assets remind you of the time Andy Goram was in court for wife dodging in the 90’s and his declared ‘salary’ at Deidco was only 200 quid a week ..?
And isn’t it odd that none of the journalists from the time followed up on that story, you know, the one that would’ve brought Cheatco to its knees overnight ?
I know it lit a big torch round our campfire but none of us then knew how to run with it.
Would not call the Green Brigade as such morons we all make mistakes and some take time to break from the rebillious attitude, a lot of us, well some, had in our day. The jungle was not exactly free from the odd attacks of madness like attacking wee Strachan due to the boiling over brought about by his antics and who could forget having to go to Manchester thanks to the loonball who threw the bottle at the battle of beating Rapid Vienna.
Sometimes we have to learn from mistakes and come back stronger more informed we are all after all Celtic family and some more than others have had blacksheeps. Life is short live it, learn from it and grow and pass on the baton to the next generation and most of all be informed and ready to protect the reputation of this club you know it makes sense Bhoys hail hail.EUFA have their rules i was in Manchester and had to endure the latter to follow closed door event, this hurts our club and it hurts more to turn away Celtic family.
Don’t think there was a bottle thrown at the Rapid Vienna game. It was coin which missed the player, and the guy went down as if he’d been shot. UEFA duly delivered for the cheats. Some things never change.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUnuTIuNBZY
When did they strart minting suare coins?
There was a bottle thrown but it missed the Rapid guy by a mile, though he went doon pretty rapid as it flew by him.
He might’ve caught a coin that was meant for Hugh Dallas* but the boy went down like a bag a shite on roller skates.
He was on the back of the Radar next day with a bandage you could’ve wrapped a mummy in roon his heid, looking like a total bam,, the Retard at their usual anti-Celtic bashing, causing havoc to our club cos their team was pure shite, just like they are the now.
It worked then, obviously, replayed tie n aw that, and will probably work this time tae.
Cos that’s how they operwte, damning Celtic at every turn while keepin schtum on their favourite fandannies no matter what they get up tae.
Makes me sick tae mah stomach thinking about how they’ve worked it, and how they keep working it, and next tae naebody seeing it for the pure joke it really is.
The media runs Scottish fitba, no the SFA or the Donkey, they’re just Kermit & The Fleabags, while aw the action’s happening roon Animal at the back, cos he’s the wan bangin the jungle drums, he batters oot the beat an aw the other muppets dance in time tae his tune.
At’s how they achieve their blanket silences and mad outbursts like this week, aw dancing alang tae a coordinated clang.
Gang a fuckin liars n bandits and thieves tae break the bank one and all, and I’ve known plenty of the aforementioned but never oan a scale like this, coppers, liquidators, media, judges, lawyers, UEFA, aw the other clubs ….
Goebbels was right, ‘Gie me the media and Ah’ll win ye the war’, but he was talking about winning his ain people oer, by filling their heids wae aw the mad crap aboot fascism and the ‘existential threat’ tae get everybody oanside, jist like they’re daein the noo.
But there’s ‘nae conspiracy’, it’s jist ‘a theory’, and we’re aw still ‘paranoid’, and even the Celtic fans are swallyin this guff when it’s right in front ae them every day and they’re that used tae swallyin it they don’t even know whit it’s like tae dae withoot the Kool Aid fur a day or two and try tae think for themselves for a change.
If this ‘review’ turns oot as crap as it already is the gemme’s as good as deid in Scotland an everywan ae it’s ‘murderers’ is gonnae sail off to their tax havens, Scot free at last.
Sorry for the rant, and the language, Phil, but I don’t know how better to say it.
Keep on the good stuff.
We widnae be here withoot ye.

Just read, it was the Rapid coach that threw the bottle!
Talk aboot a stitch up …
Here’s the whole joke of a mess, that definitely reeks of its ain kind of ‘coordinated action’.

It was a bottle thrown at the Rapid Vienna game. Landed about six feet from the future headband wearer.
i was at the game and it was a bottle that didn’t appear to hit the player but as they were getting beat they took full advantage. Supporters getting the team into trouble is not new !
How the fuck would a fire engine be of any use in a stadium in that time scope?? Thought the fire alarm was activated??
Fire Appliances carries fire fighters
Not to mention the wet stuff, under pressure and big skooshy hoses. 😉
You really can’t legislate for folks thickness.
And you should know.
The display lasted 5 mins….how long for the fire engine to make it to stadium, probs gain entrance via gate no1,firefighters to disembark & run along pitch behind goals with a hose towards section & put out the “Flames”….my main point was celtic said fire alarm was set off & engine dispatched….phil claims it was the match commander who ordered the engine…not one fan has heard the fire alarm going aff at hearts game ?
My source was impeccably placed to witness this event.
Moreover, I have been in contact with this individual for several years.
Have been watching/supporting Celtic for 57 years and looking forward to Wednesday night without the morons of the GB.
The atmosphere will be great as it was before their recent arrival and hopefully after their imminent disappearance
Morons? No need for tbat, misguided definitively but no need for abusive insults.
The GB’s recent attitude and behaviour is a standing insult to the club and its supporters.
Is it, aye ..?
