Decision time on Dave?

There was pre-match meeting of the Sevco High Command today.

After the game against Patrick Thistle, the chaps in the Blue Room reconvened their quintessentially British conclave.

There was only one item on the dignified agenda.

Dave.

Is it time to cut him loose?

I believe that is  the decision that  several members of the Sevco High Command are struggling with now

My own personal opinion is that I would love for Mr David Cunnigham King to remain on board.

I think he brings something special to the Blue Room.

I really do.

  1. Who are the people in the Blue Room Phil? I’m sorry, I’ve lost the place on who’s who, who’s there, who’s still there, I have no idea!! The management board of the Football club has seen some resignations lately and The board of the parent company I’m at a loss as to who is actually on each board and who is actually taking any decisions

  3. Phil,
We would all love to see Mr King remain on board.
He is doing a sterling job!
Well he is – if you don’t support the real rangers man’s team!!

  4. It seems to me that King is happy to extend the cold shoulder to RIFC and The Three Bears to drag them all down if he does not get the share price he chooses. Clearly TTB can’t buy the shares themselves without triggering their own offer. So instead they must find someone else to over-pay for King’s shares but who cannot be seen as acting in concert with them. No mean feat when it is well known that the shares are virtually worthless. Who is this over-investing, non-concerting fool?

Sounds like the only way TTB can protect their other businesses from the RIFC cold shoulder is to bail out of RIFC by triggering Admin II (sic). All shares, including King’s, become officially worthless and TTB lose their soft loans. A small price to pay for trusting a glib and shameless career spiv. At least their other businesses will be protected if they act quickly.

  5. Brendan did his best to mask his anger post match today.
Seen a few bad decisions since being here he said, that one was the worst.
Yep,Brendan by a country mile. The ref will have jumped to the front of the runners for the Scottish Cup Final.
    Either totally incompetent or worse?
How is Fleming still in a job churning out the worst officiaks in Europe?

  6. King as 15% of shares in RIFC in UK – can TAB take these in payment ?

They can force him to offer £14m for all shares – but if he does not comply can they take his shares?

  7. Given Dave ‘ s history he will still be calling the shots as a shadow director no matter whether he’s pushed aside, resigns or is removed from the Blue Room shouting and screaming.
Despite failing the SFA’S F&P test King has been making the decisions at the football club whilst Regan and his crew have stood by in admiration.
Fortunately every decision he makes either ends up as another court case or brings further grief to the football club. ….not exactly the sort of exposure that their various sponsors would welcome.
I hope that reporting restrictions are not enforced in the Whyte case as every detail should be available to Scottish football fans and the wider public.

  8. Pre- and post-match meetings?
    Things are heating up !
The mystery for me is that the on-field performance is quite good:
a solid turd is not to be sniffed at.

  9. I think I would concur with you on this one. Dave is basically misunderstood by most, but in contrast not understood at all by his knuckle dragging ,pitchfork carrying demographic. While the genuine fans of other clubs now easily recognise the smell of Kings Barry White, the gullibillies consume copious amounts from the pishometer of news from our “balanced” media in Scotland.
Oh how we laugh and laughed, guffawed until we made ourselves sick. Jelly and ice cream running down my beard.
This cannot be allowed to stop. A saga of Monty Python proportions.
    Dave must stay!

  10. Phil; what is meant by “cut him loose”? Is that simply forcing him out as Chairman? Don’t see why that would mean anything much to the TAB as he (and his concert party pals) would still be in control of major portion of stock. In effect, why wouldn’t he/they still be able to exert control even if he doesn’t have board position?

Sounds to me like theyou would want to force him to sell stock-but question is who is stupid enough to 1) pay him & 2) throw away their money.

  11. Aye Phil I couldn’t agree more, that special thing he brings is OPM.

They love that down in govania.

Thanks, truth can be painful,so is withdrawal from OPM,or so I’m led to believe.

    C’mon Bhoys let’s finish the season unbeaten.✅?

  12. The Special Thing he indeed brings is that he will not invest nor will he readily move aside for others to do so.
Thus his magical touch is , at least for now, good news for the bhoys.

Should Ashley prevail or another engineer an entrance, the game may yet change….

  13. Got to stay but I’m sure the old Limpopo back hand shuffle will come into play very soon .sevco/holding co/engine sub/rrfc/international ,the thing is I’m most disappointed on two points .1/ I actually thought they wouldn’t get away with it again and the SFA UEFA would wise up ..and 2/ I thought that after buying downfall and then giving a “loan”to a pal I have yet to get book back ,but at least tims in Kilwinning know the true truth .god bless and keep u safe.heho

  14. If DCK used borrowed money from T3Berz

Yes, he was acting in concert…

    but so were they !

Why aren’t they all being taken to task for this, as they are/were in it together

They knew full well what he was doing with the money THEY loaned him !?

Are you able to get Rugger guy to explain this ‘anomaly’ ?
