Livid about the truth

When the New Regime at Ibrox were trying to storm the Marble Staircase they had a constant criticism of the old board.

They pointed to the steady stream of embarrassingly accurate leaks from Ibrox.

When Mr David Cunningham King and his trusty pro bono lieutenant Mr Paul Murray triumphed last March they stated that these leaks would be a thing of the past.

Consequently, once they had their feet under the boardroom table, they were confident that the unauthorised flow of information would dry up.

However, an excellently placed source told me today that this recent piece caused some angst in the Blue Room.

They were not livid because it was Off The Radar pish, but rather because it was highly accurate.

I understand that a discussion on how I came by this information got rather heated.

A constant in the Ibrox saga over the past few years has been my determination to protect sources.

This means that there is a good chance that I will develop new contacts in the future.

It is because of this and the fact that I will not regurgitate press releases that so many of you frequent this site on a regular basis and support my work.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh!

Dear reader, I think we both know that this type of reporting will not make it into the succulent mainstream for reasons that we both understand.

Therefore, this work must continue until the stenographers decide to try their hand at journalism.
