I understand that the search by Rangers International Football Club (RIFC) for new auditors continues.
Today I submitted these questions to the nice people at Baker Tilly:
“Can you confirm or deny that a senior client of Baker Tilly objected to RIFC becoming a client of your company?
“Can you confirm or deny that you will not be taking the appointment as auditors of RIFC?”
If I receive any replies, I will reproduce them here.
Sources tell me that the auditing gig was then offered late last week to Campbell Dallas LLP.
Furthermore, I understand that they currently have two of their chaps out at the Big House doing due diligence at the moment.
To that end I submitted these questions to the nice people at Campbell Dallas LLP:
“Can you confirm or deny that Campbell Dallas LLP has been offered the appointment to be the auditors of Rangers International Football Club (RIFC)?
“Can you confirm or deny that your company is currently carrying out a due diligence process into whether or not to accepts RIFC as a client?”
