Yes, yes, I realise that this means that the sale of these two first-team players would generate little if any, profit for the current iteration of Rainjurzz.
Such a perfectly believable scenario would be verboten in the succulent press as it would not adhere to the officially sanctioned good news only regarding Ibrox.

Both are absolute duds so hopefully Rangers offer both new lucrative deals. If they’re offloaded it means there’s the probability they can be replaced by better players. So as Celtic fans, let’s hope they stay.

No player with half a brain would let his weight balloon if he thought he was in the shop window.
If these players go they will get little for them .
And what they do get will only go towards financing the debts they have .

you’d probably want to kick him at every training session for being a useless, out of shape lump,

A sell on clause? More like a Santa Claus. I really can’t see a club, with players in the last 6 months of their contract, being in a position to negotiate much at all never mind a sell on clause. However, weight watchers may be the latest major club “being linked with” Alfredo. Any other club with a soon to be worthless asset are usually described as nominal fee to seal the deal early before he can do walking away. They can then take out a New Year 6 month membership of weight watchers and get Alfie in shape for the new season.
This will probably go one of 2 ways. One or both will go for an undisclosed super duper fee. Or they will play Connor Goldson poker, wait for offers, receive either none or nothing near their own inflated assessment, and they stay to much fanfare in the SMSM. Sevco then bump their wages up but that is much cheaper than signing replacements.
Alternatively they may sign new deals this month and it will all be down to wanting to work with the genius that is Michael Beale who, with 39% possession and compliant officials taught us a tactical lesson and got a draw on Monday.

At this stage of their contacts a sell on clause just won’t happen. WHY would any buying club agree to one? They can sign a pre-contract with the player now and tell him to sit tight. If Sevco believe they’re getting nothing THEY will offer to let him go immediately for a nominal fee, and they will actively encourage the player to go just to get him off the wage bill.
With regards to Kent, I would imagine there is still money due to Liverpool so anything they get might be needed to clear SG’s favourite club.
Any club (including sevco) who offer Morelos a contract are idiots.
Kent will either go for minimal fee in January or sign pre contract with mid table championship team. Better money and weather for him, but no interest from the bigger teams.
Nobody is paying anything for either one of them. They will if anything sign a pre contract agreement or will walk away at the end of the year.
Although I do also see the both of them signing new contracts, but only because there is no interest elsewhere.
The media will portray this as significant signings!
No matter what happens it will have a positive spin. They have 9 players who can sign a pre contract, nothing in the MSM about that. Can you imagine that scenario with us and the media bloodbath that would ensue?
And yet according to Transfermarkt, Kent is the most valuable player in Scotland. It’s beyond me how they can possibly reach that conclusion. It’s certainly, Monday’s goal aside, not on his end product over the last few seasons. The season before the car-crash year Forrest personally scored more goals and had more assists than every midfielder/winger on sevco’s books, COMBINED!!
And yet there were still Celtic fans saying he doesn’t do enough.
An interesting club could just sign a pre contract with the player and any money they would pay the huns could go a better salary for the play.
Which generally results in him moving for a pittance just to get him off the books.
