I was interested to learn that the regular Friday conclave of the Sevco High Command was brought forward a day.
Consequently, the dignified sit down took place yesterday.
There was an attempt by a Senior chap within the Blue Room Presidium to raise the upcoming court case in involving Sports Direct.
However, I’m told that this made Mr David Cunningham King less than Zen-like.
I’m told that the meeting then broke up in some disarray when two chaps telephonically exited from the sit-down.
So, as with so much in the Sevco circus, it will be back to court.

The one thing that could kick this can further down the litigation road would be a dispute over the exact level of commercial activity at the Sevco car boot sale.
However, I expect General Ashley to go into battle next week with all of the necessary operational intelligence.
Time spent in reconnaissance is never wasted…
One other thing, Big Mike is reportedly to be in a foul mood at the moment over the Debenhams show.
Therefore, he might not be feeling too forgiving if Sevco shows him an open goal in open court.
